VIU welcome activities begin this week

The first day of school is fast approaching but students at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo will be gearing up for the new year already this week.

Heather Burke, Aboriginal Student Recruitment says Rock VIU goes Thursday and aims to help the 900 new students meet other students within their faculty.

Burke says there are lots of other activities planned to help students kick off their campus life….

 

 

VIU President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ralph Nilson will also host a meet and greet Thursday for parents interested in learning about the supports and services available on campus.
