RCMP investigate serious assault

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are looking for 4 suspects following a serious assault.
It happened at Centennial Park around 7 o’clock Saturday night.
A 52 year old man was practicing his tennis swing in the courts there when some sort of verbal fight broke out between the man and 4 suspects.
Corporal Krista Hobday says the verbal fight became physical….
The victim will require surgery to his face as he suffered broken bones.
Police are trying to identify the four individuals that include two men and two women who were described as wearing casual clothing, were white and in their late teens to early twenties.
