More than school supplies to get

With the rush to get school supplies and schedules organized for the new school year, parents are being reminded to ensure their kids vaccinations are up to date too.
Medical Health Officer, Dr. Paul Hasselback says there is a booster shot kids need to get when they are between 4 and 6 years old….
He says these days the main illness circulating is whooping cough.
The biggest change in the vaccination schedule for kids this year is that students in grade 9 will be offered a new meningitis vaccine booster that protects against more strains of the infection.
