Legal Grow-Op Burns in North Cowichan

A legal marijuana grow operation in North Cowichan was destroyed by fire this afternoon.
Crews from North Cowichan South End, Maple Bay and Duncan attended the fire, with emergency services and RCMP on scene.
Deputy Fire Chief Brad Coleman says it was a challenging fire to extinguish.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
A marijuana grower in Cedar was also destroyed by fire earlier this month, along with a licenced operation near Courtenay in July.
