The BC Conservation Officer Service is warning of two recent cougar sightings in Duncan.
Two cougars were spotted on the Trans Canada Trail, west of Cowichan Lake Road near the intersection with Skinner Road this morning. What is believed to be the same two cougars were also spotted on August 22nd in the same general area.
Sgt. Scott Norris says trail users should be aware there may be cougars around, and shares some tips if you spot one.
Norris says the cougars have shown no aggressive behaviour at this point.
