Couple Attacked with Pepper Spray in Subway Parking Lot

North Cowichan Duncan RCMP have arrested and charged a 25 year old man after a pepper spray attack on a couple.
On August 20th around 5:30pm, a 59 year old man and his 52 year old wife were sitting in their vehicle at a local Subway store parking lot, when a man in a BMW approached. The couple was then sprayed in the face with pepper spray.
The couple went into the Subway store for help, where 911 was called and they were treated for their injuries.
Terrance (TJ) Bastarache has been arrested and is facing charges of assault with a weapo, pointing a firearm, and possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking.
