School districts to ensure inclusive anti-bullying policies

School districts across the province will have updated anti-bullying policies by the end of this year.
B-C Education Minister Mike Bernier says all schools will be required to have anti-bullying policies that include sexual orientation and gender identity.
He says it is important that all students feel safe and secure when they are in school…
The province has also partnered with the ARC Foundation to be a resource for school districts to help develop policies.
The new policies must be in place by the end of 2016.
