Hometown Hockey preparations well underway in Nanaimo

Rogers announced this past week that it’s “Hometown Hockey” tour is coming to Nanaimo in February.
Nanaimo city councillor, Bill Bestwick, who is the local organizating committee chair says details of the celebration during the visit featuring Ron McLean will be revealed in the coming months…
Nanaimo was one of 24 cities chosen to be part of the tour this season and Bestwick says it’s a great tourism and economic opportunity for the Harbour City.
