Islands Trust quarterly meeting starts Tuesday

The regular quarterly meeting of the Islands Trust Council will start tomorrow (Tues).
Peter Luckham, Chair of the Islands Trust Council says it’s running a little longer than usual because trustees and staff will be participating in a visioning process….
A housing session takes up part of the agenda as trustees will be discussing the impacts of increased density, obstacles to affordable housing and opportunities for innovative ownership options.
Also on the agenda is commercial anchorages, increased vessel traffic and climate change.
The 3 day meeting will take place at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney.
