Transit will be detoured while Otto Bridge gets repairs

BC Transit has some route detours in effect as a result of some road work.
Route 6 is being split into two sections to accommodate the construction.
Duncan to Crofton, will go from Village Green Mall in Duncan to Crofton, ending at York Avenue near Chaplin and will then return to the Village Green Mall at regularly scheduled Route 6 times.
The second route, Duncan to Chemainus, will go from Village Green Mall in Duncan and travel via Lakes and Herd Road to the TransCanada Highway.
It will service Mount Sicker and Chemainus Roads ending at the usual Pine at Daniel stop in Chemainus.
The bus will follow the same routing when heading southbound back to Duncan.
The route change will remain in effect until the 16th while Crofton Road is closed for repairs to the Otto Bridge.
