Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer fire fighter, or learning more about your local fire departments should come out to an annual recruitment open house this weekend.
CVRD Fire Rescue Service Coordinator Jason deJong shares details of the event.
Anyone interested can come to the event to ask questions, receive information and hear firsthand accounts of how rewarding it can be to volunteer.
The recruitment drive open house takes place on Saturday from 12 to 4 at the Mesachie Lake Fire Hall.
