Tour de Rock starts this weekend

After 7 months of grueling training, the Tour de Rock gets going this weekend.
Felix Charette-Thibault and Jaleesa Nardino, both from the North Cowichan/Duncan detachment are participating in the ride.
Nanaimo’s RCMP rider, Donovan Tait says trainers have been working with the riders preparing them for the 2 week, 1,100 kilometre journey…..
The riders will start the Tour on Sunday in Port Alice.
They’ll be in Nanaimo on October 3rd and then head to Ladysmith and Chemainus.
They’ll ride from Chemainus to Lake Cowichan and then to Duncan on October 4th.
The following day, they’ll be in Shawnigan Lake and Mill Bay.
The Tour wraps up on October 7th.
