Water Main in Shawnigan To Be Fully Repaired By Dinner

Some Shawnigan Lake residents went hours without water early this morning, after a large water main break disrupted service in the area.
CVRD Operations Superintendent Todd Etherington says they received a low reservoir alarm just before 3AM, and arrived on scene to discover the break.
Etherington says about 80-percent of people affected had low pressure water returned to them by 8 this morning, and the main is expected to be fully operational by this evening.
