The province has started work on stabilizing the slope on Cowichan Bay Road.
Traffic passing through will see some delays and one-lane traffic when passing the boat launch.
CVRD Director for Cowichan Bay Lori Iannidinardo says it’s not the bio-engineered solution that residents were hoping for, but it is a solution she is relatively happy to see.
Construction is expected to go until November 4th.
