School District 68 has agreed on the basics of a new transportation policy.
After studies and public consultation, theĀ Board has agreed, transportation to and from catchment schools will be based on special needs, safety and hazards and distance and geography.
Board Vice Chair, Stephanie Higginson says the policy is a good beginning…..
Most trustees agreed the policy is flexible enough so that cases can be considered individually on their own merit.
