Mobile Medical Unit To Visit Cowichan

BC’s Medical Mobile Unit is scheduled to visit the Cowichan Valley for the first time.
Clinical Operations Director Peter Hennecke says the “hospital on wheels” is a multi-purpose unit that is able to travel anywhere in the province.
The unit will be providing clinicians at the Cowichan District Hospital with trauma education, and then give an allergy and respiratory clinic to health care providers in Cowichan Tribes.
The public is welcome to see the Mobile Medical Unit at an open house at the Cowichan District Hospital on Sunday from 4 to 6pm.
