Wild Wings Festival Kicks Off Today

The WildWings Nature & Arts Festival kicks off on Thursday at Just Jakes restaurant in Duncan.
It’s the 8th annual Festival that offers 30 eventsĀ over the next 6 weeks.
The Somenos Marsh Wildlife Society Program Coordinator, Elizabeth Bailey says the event coincides with the return of the Trumpeter Swans to the Valley.

Events include guided walks at Somenos Marsh, Mount Tzouhalem and the Koksilah Ancient Trees, as well as various birding trips, a kids birding contest and even a  Sip and Spot local winery and birding tour.
