Celebrate Library Month on Vancouver Island

Vancouver Island Regional Libraries Communications Officer Natasha Bartlett says libraries are community hubs, a wealth of resources for the community, as well as they give universal access to information for everyone.
She says branches across the island are celebrating this month with a number of events such as the the Welcome Back Week at the end of October.

Bartlett says they will remove 20$ from anyone’s outstanding account, and put you on a small payment plan to take off the rest.

She adds to check out your local branch for more activities going on in October.
