Numbers are up in the School District

Enrollment at the Cowichan Valley School District  is up for the second year in a row.

Superintendent Rod Allen says in 2015, we saw an increase of 150 students, and enrolment is up 200 students this school year.

Allen says students coming into kindergarten have also started to outpace students graduating, which is promising for the school district.

There are just over 76 hundred students in the Cowichan Valley school district this year.
