Storms are moving in

Environment Canada is warning people to brace for a series of storms that will begin to hit the coast overnight tomorrow night.
Armel Castellan with Environment Canada says they are expecting to see three storms hit the coast in quick succession between now and Sunday…
Castellan says they are expecting some areas of the Island to get up to 200 millimeters of rain by Sunday, depending on how the storm tracks across the island.
Drivers are being urged to leave some extra time over the next few days.
Constable Rob Gardner says mounties recently nabbed several drivers who were excessively speeding on the highway.
He says drivers need to slow down this time of year because conditions can change quickly.
Gardner says drivers should be on the look out for pooling water and debris on the roadways as the rains and winds pick up.
