MP says his constituents favour electoral reform

The MP for Cowichan-Malahat-Langford says 87-percent of the people he spoke to in the riding want electoral reform that is fair and proportional. That’s higher than the national average of 84-percent.
Alistair McGregor served as a substitute for the Special Committee on Electoral Reform and traveled with them to attend public consultations in Atlantic Canada. He says it was a great experience.
McGregor held town hall meetings on electoral reform in Duncan and Langford over the summer. The BC NDP released their report last week with feedback from over 37 thousand Canadians.
