B-C’s Minister of Agriculture is working to spread the word about a new tax credit for farmers who donate food to charities.
Norm Letnick says the tax credit is aimed at encouraging farmers to donate extra food to registered charities, while also improving the supply of fresh produce for those who rely on food banks.
Letnick says he hopes to see more farmers take advantage of the tax credit, especially as the summer growing season comes to a close.
