Sahtlam residents talk about noise

The Sahtlam Neighbourhood Association is concerned the nearby Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit is looking to expand.
Isabel Rimmer, of the Association says they only want the GAIN Group, that runs the circuit, to be a good neighbour first….
The owners of the circuit have steadfastly called the facility a test track, not a racetrack, but Rimmer says the noise that consistently emanates from it, is disruptive.
She says there needs to be a noise study done and from there, some decisions have to be made with regards to how the noise from the track can be mitigated.

A community meeting is set for tomorrow night (Wed) at the Sahtlam Fire Hall beginning at 7 and anyone interested in the topic is welcome to attend.
