Nanaimo airport hosts simulated exercise

The Nanaimo Airport will be conducting a live emergency response exercise tomorrow (Fri).
Mike Hooper, President and CEO of the Nanaimo Airport says a simulated emergency situation involving an aircraft will take place beginning mid morning….

Participating agencies will include the Cranberry Fire Department, Airport Security and Operations, RCMP, NavCanada, BC Ambulance and onsite air carriers.

For passengers, it will be business as usual.
