Playbox Installed in Chemainus Park

The first playbox has been installed at Kin Beach in Chemainus, thanks in part to the Chemainus Rotary Club.
The playbox is a metal container filled with sports and athletic equipment that is kept in the park. People who use the park can request the lock combination to use the equipment, and lock it back up when they are done.
Graham Cousins is the Recreation Programmer with North Cowichan.
Cousins says they hope to install another playbox at Queen Street Park in Crofton early next year.
