Budget Town Halls Start Today

North Cowichan is one of the communities that is turning to its residents for feedback on the 2017 budget.
The first of four meetings is being held tonight, which will include a presentation highlighting the current year’s accomplishments, a briedfoverview of the draft budget, and roundtabel discussions on upcoming projects.
Mayor Jon Lefebure says its the first opportunity for residents to see what we are facing this year.
Tonight’s meeting takes place at Ecole Mount Prevost from 6-8pm.
CVRD is also hosting their first budget town hall 7pm tonight at Kerry Park Social Lounge.
