Malahat Nation raises money for a daycare centre

The Malahat Nation is hosting their 4th Annual Gala Fundraiser.
The event will be the first fundraiser to kick start plans to build a daycare centre for Malahat Nation children.
Councillor Matthew Harry says it is a top priority for council to provide children with the same opportunities that are available in more urban centres.
The Gala and Golf Event takes place on October 28th (fri) at Bear Mountain Resort and Spa. The gala will also continue the tradition of hosting the Aboriginal art auction, featuring works from recognized artists and new rising stars.
