Bursary for arts students

Cowichan Valley students interested in the arts can apply for Oswego Arts and Cultural Society’s first Student Art Bursary.
The local not-for-profit group is offering one student from School District 79 a bursary of at least 500-dollars.
President David Bain says students should submit proposals that demonstrate their creative side and passion for arts and culture, whether that’s in visual arts, literature, dance, music, and theatre.
Bain says the bursary also comes with a unique opportunity to showcase their creative work in the community and at future Rock of the Woods events.
