Less than a dozen firearms turned in to local detachment

More than 5,000 firearms were taken off the streets in BC during the past two firearms amnesties, including 900 handguns.

This latest one, during the month of October, has wrapped up and RCMP Sargeant Christine Wood says some guns were turned into the North Cowichan/Duncan detachment throughout the month…..
