Replacement for Cowichan Secondary tops on the list

The Cowichan Valley School District says their number one priority on the 5-year capital plan is a new 1500 student replacement school for Cowichan Secondary.

Board Chair Candace Spilsbury says they rescinded a motion to review the Cowichan Secondary School Dual Campus, and instead use their energy and resources to focus on one big goal.

Cowichan Secondary School is 67 years old this year, and Spilsbury says parents, teachers and staff are all in agreement that a new school is needed.
