Canadian Blood Services needs to recruit more than 3,000 donors throughout BC in short order.

The time period between donations for men will remain the same but the maximum level for hemoglobin will increase slightly, effective March of next year.
The next blood donation clinic in the Cowichan Valley is at the Island Savings Centre on the 29th.
