B-C Hydro users are being advised of a telephone scam.
Spokesperson Mora Scott says scammers have been calling people claiming to be with the company.
The individuals threaten to cut power if a payment isn’t made immediately and request credit card information.
Scott says there are a few ways to protect yourself from the scam.
Scott notes that anyone with any concerns can contact B-C Hydro for assistance.
