Pedestrian Safety A Priority As Days Get Shorter

The BC Coroners Service is urging both drivers and pedestrians to use extra caution as the days get shorter.
Barb McLintock says there was double the number of pedestrian fatalities in October compared to what we usually see in BC.
McLintock says distraction is also a huge problem for both drivers and pedestrians. She says everyone needs to make sure your full attention is on the road.
A woman and a young girl were taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Downtown Duncan last Tuesday evening.
