Memorial For Brayden Gale Vandalized A Second Time

A memorial for Brayden Gale was vandalized for the second time since it was installed at Chemainus Lake in August.
North Cowichan Duncan RCMP say sometime between October 30th and November 2nd, the wooden and stone memorial was destroyed. The vandals also destroyed one of the photos of Gale, and stole a wooden carved trout that was on one of the memorials.
Laura Robertson is Brayden’s mother.
The memorial was installed in honour of the 22 year old who died when boating and fishing with a friend last November, along with a LifeRing life preserver to help prevent future accidents.
The same memorial was also defaced just one week after its installation.
