A wind warning in effect for East Vancouver Island.
Environment Canada says exposed coastal areas will be particularly vulnerable to strong southeast winds.
The system should be over us by tonight but until then, Environment Canada says loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
Motorists should be prepared for blowing objects.
