Affordable housing announced

The province has committed to investing 855 million dollars to affordable housing this year.
68 affordable housing projects throughout B.C., totaling 516 million dollars, were announced today (Tues).
Premier Christy Clark is insisting the province is making progress on the affordable housing issue and not just treading water….
Of the 516 million dollars the province is spending on new projects, more than 1400 are on the lower mainland.
There are 18 projects on the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island, including 4 in Nanaimo, representing about 153 units.
