Purple Light Nights Kick Off Tonight

The 4th Annual Purple Light Nights Campaign is kicking off today in the Cowichan Valley.
The event is hosted by Warmland Women’s Support Services Society to raise awareness against family violence, and the desire for a safe and inclusive community. Program Coordinator Kendra Thomas is happy to see high profile members of the community joining forces for the campaign.
Thomas says family violence is a community issue that we should all be concerned about.
She encourages all local businesses and homes to string up some purple lights for the cause.
