Back Country Enthusiasts Beware!

Avalanche forecasters in the region are reminding back country enthusiasts to be prepared before heading out this winter.
Jan Neuspiel with the Vancouver Island Avalanche Bulletin says the biggest thing is to get avalanche training and make sure you have the right gear.
Neuspiel notes that backcountry use is one of the fastest growing winter sports in B-C and it’s important that you are prepared before you head out.
