500 students expected at fair

As many as 500 people will attend the Education and Career Fair tomorrow (Dec 1).
It’s at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo from 9 to 3 and secondary school students from the Nanaimo-Ladysmith School District, public and private schools from Port Hardy to Duncan are expected to turn out for the free annual event.

Representatives of post-secondary institutions, industry associations and employers will participate in the fair which is presented in a trade show format.

Job seekers are also welcome to attend.
