Town Hall Meeting on Expansion of Fisher Road Recycling

Residents in Cobble Hill interested in learning more about the possible expansion to the Fisher Road Recycling facility can attend a town hall meeting tonight.
The facility is applying to double the composting capacity from 18,000 tonnes to 36,000, but would in turn bring the whole operation indoors to prevent unpleasant odors from the facility.
CVRD Director for Cobble Hill Matteus Clement says it’s been a long standing issue, and encourages all residents to come out to the meeting.
The meeting takes place at Cobble Hill Hall at 7pm tonight.
