MP wants to include housing in Bill of Rights

The M-P for the North Island – Powell River has tabled a bill in the House of Commons to include housing in the Canadian Bill of Rights.

Blaney says she also hopes that by including housing as a right it will stop the downloading of responsibility for housing onto local governments and ensure all levels of government work together to address housing issues.
