BC Ferries is still working out the details, but you can expect to see some new rules on their vessels starting next year.
BC Ferries Marshall Deborah Marshall says they’re reviewing their smoking policy with an aim to offer a smoke-free environment.
She also confirmed that they’ll be fully implementing Transport Canada regulations to limit passenger access to closed vehicle decks while ships are moving.
A formal announcement on both the policies will be made in January.
