5 stranded after tide comes in

The Nanaimo Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue got a call out for help around midnight Sunday.
A group of five people had been clamming at the Nanaimo River Estuary but found themselves stranded after the tide rolled in.
A passing boater picked up the clam diggers who were transferred to a pair of RCM SAR vessels.
They were treated for hypothermia at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
