The cooler temperatures mean more electricity is being used across the province, so B-C Hydro is now offering a special Winter Payment Plan.
The Plan will allow users to spread their bill payments over a 6-month period.
Spokesperson Ted Olynyk says this is a great way for users to keep their bills affordable and is easy to set up.
Olynyk says Hydro has seen electricity consumption reach record levels this Winter.
