The province has issued an environmental assessment certificate for the Trans Mountain pipeline project.
The Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion was given approval by the Federal Government in the fall.
Premier Christy Clark says the company has met the five conditions that the province set out, including a revenue sharing agreement.
Clark notes that it was up to the Federal Government to approve or deny the project – it was the government’s focus to ensure B-C would be protected into the future.
