The MP for Cowichan Malahat Langford says the growing number of dispensaries on Vancouver Island is a concern to many.
Alistair MacGregor says it stems from a system of confusion surrounding marijuana laws after the liberal party promised to legalize marijuana, but did not follow through with guidance or regulations until recently.
MacGregor says there has been confusion with local law enforcement, government officials and residents.
