The SPCA is getting help from the province for their four legged friends.
The BC government is providing five million dollars to help renovate or rebuild aging facilities across BC.
CEO of the BC SPCA Craig Daniell says the work won’t affect any of the animals.
Daniell says the money going towards shelters outlined in the organization’s Facilities Development and Services Plan, with work planned for the Campbell River location.
