RCMP suspect foul play after human remains were found near the summit of the Malahat on Friday.
The RCMP are tight-lipped on the details and won t confirm any details, including how the remains were found or how long they may have been there.
An autopsy has been scheduled for later this week.
14 SAR members from Cowichan and Salt Spring Island were called in Friday morning by the RCMP after human remains were discovered in a wooded area below the Arbutus pull off.
