56,000 Signature Petition Delivered to BC Legislature

TheĀ failure of Premier Clark’s government to tackle poverty and growing inequality is symbolic of the choices that the BC Liberals have made.
That’s according to theĀ BC Federation of Labour President, Irene Lanzinger who says 500,000 British Columbians currently earn less than 15 dollars an hour.
A 56,000 petition signature has been delivered to the Legislature.
It comes from theĀ FederationĀ and calls on the province to raise the minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour.
