Gas prices on the way up

Drivers may have noticed a jump in the price of gasoline lately.

Pricing analyst Jason Parent, with Kent Marketing Services says there are a number of factors at play including the recent run-up in crude oil prices.

A litre of gas in Vancouver costs upwards of a dollar 43, in Victoria 126.9 to 129.9, in the Duncan region a litre runs in the range of 119.9 to 120.9 and in Nanaimo a litre of gas is 124.6 to 133.9.

Parent believes there’s a risk prices may still go higher.
